Support
Email support@everydaycompasslife.com. Tell us which app, whether you were on the website or your iPhone, what you were trying to do, and the message you saw. A screenshot helps; cover anything private first. Never send your password or a sign-in link.
For Operation Pathfinders, see Pathfinders support.
Signing in
- Every Everyday Compass app uses the same email and password. If you already use one, sign in to the others with the same login.
- Forgot your password? Choose “Email me a link” on the sign-in screen, then set a new password under Household → Your login.
- No email arriving? Check spam and promotions, and use the newest one.
Your household
- One household covers every app. People you add in one app are already there in the next.
- Invite a partner or roommate from Household. They sign in with their own email.
- Add kids by name. They don’t need a login for Cairn, Chuckbox or Haversack.
- The grid button at the top opens the other apps, already signed in.
- On iPhone, press and hold an app’s icon for shortcuts, and add its widget from the Home Screen’s Edit → Add Widget.
Cairn
- Set up your house, your people and your days on the iPhone app or the Cairn website. Monthly and deep-clean jobs, and later changes to your house, are on the website.
- Every job time starts as an estimate. Open a job and log what it really took, and Cairn uses your number from then on.
- The first weeks are short on purpose. Finish most of a week and the plan steps up.
- Maintain (part of the bundle) tracks your home and vehicles. Pick a weekly check-in day under Maintain and Cairn asks for your mileage then, and reminds you before each job comes due.
Chuckbox
- Tap “Plan a meal” on any day to add breakfast, lunch, supper or a snack.
- To import a recipe, paste its web address. Some sites block this; paste the recipe text instead.
- The grocery list adds up ingredients from every recipe on the plan for that week and sorts them by aisle.
Haversack
- Add clothes one at a time with a photo, or use Rapid add to get a whole drawer in quickly.
- Tap “Wore it today” to keep track of what you actually wear. Things you haven’t worn in a while show up in Clear out.
- Your own closet is private to you. Kids’ closets are shared with the adults who look after them.
- Photos not showing? Check that Haversack is allowed to use the camera or photos in your iPhone’s Settings.
Memberships
- Every household gets 30 days free of each app, with no card needed.
- After the trial, choose one app or the bundle of every app, monthly or yearly, on the Household page of any app’s website or in the iPhone app.
- One membership covers everyone in the household, on every device, wherever you bought it.
- Bought on the website? Cancel or change it from Manage billing on the Household page. Bought on iPhone? Use Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
- Already paid on another iPhone or reinstalled? Use Restore purchases on the Household screen in the app.
Delete your account
In Cairn, Chuckbox or Haversack, open Household → Your login → Delete account, on the website or in the iPhone app. Enter your password to confirm. (Signed in with emailed links only? Set a password there first.) This deletes your login and any household where you are the last adult with a login, with everything in it, in every Everyday Compass app. A household other adults are in stays with them. If it doesn’t work, email support@everydaycompasslife.com from the address you sign in with. See the privacy policy for what is kept and for how long.
